Richard looks across all of the bodies of men, women and children. He can see that the man is dead, and also that he has blood coming out of one of his ears. He gets up from that one and goes to another, again checking for signs of life. Richard walks over to the first body and leans down feeling for a pulse. They both look on in shock and horror at the death around them. Everyone is dead, all lying on the ground. Richard stops in shock when he clears the tents and can see into the center of the camp. He starts back up the mountain on the trail with Kahlan following after.Ĭut to Richard and Kahlan entering the village. They both glance around as Kahlan realizes he is right. He continues to look around as Kahlan looks to him. Suddenly Richard’s smile fades and he looks off to the distance focusing. Richard: So we’re tramping up this mountain like a couple of pack mules to fill Zedd’s belly? Richard turns to look at her and she gives him a larger smile. But only one place where the elder’s wife makes Zedd’s favorite rabbit stew. Kahlan: There’s a lot of places where we might get that information. He’s hoping our friends there have heard something about Darken Rahl’s movements. Kahlan: You know why Zedd suggested we go back to Cowley Glen, don’t you? The two spots line up together and the top pops up.Ĭut to Richard and Kahlan walking through the woods. The object still continues to tick ominously. The cylinder continues to twist until another red eye type of dot appears on the top half. The kids get more excited and agree with the boy. On the end in the boys at, near where the middles meet, there is a red eye like dot in the center.īoy: Maybe it’s a puzzle.
We get a close up of the object, it is made of out metal and has some sort of runic details on the outside. The boy is holding in his hands at one end, the top of the object still spins. The children all come out of hiding and run to the boy. The boy leans over and picks it object up, he looks at it with excitement.īoy: Come out everybody. The two ends are spinning in different directions. No one is, but there is a long cylinder shaped object on the ground, it is making a ticking noise and appears that it is split in the middle. He runs into the trees looking to see if someone is hiding there. He looks into a shed but does not see the little girl hiding there.
He lowers his hands from his eyes and begins to run to find the others. One of them is so caught up that he runs into an adult on his way to find a hiding place. The children are all running in different directions looking for a place to hide. The boy covers his eyes as all the other children run off.īoy: One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight… Open on a village, there are children playing in the small opening between tents.īoy: You be the hiders.
